Biography
Aseneth Peek-Parker is a native Detroiter who is a soloist and a minister of the Gospel. Her writing career began at an early age with poetry, short stories, and plays. Writing under the pseudonym of A. James, she extended her writing career to include the fictitious Jennings family in a weekly column for the Michigan Front Page newspaper entitled, “Aggie’s Journal” (2000-2001). Ms. Parker is also a creative producer, writer and actor. Aseneth has two children, Kayla Parker-Tolbert, who made her transition to heaven in April, 2007 and her son, Richard Adrian Parker. Richard and his wife Shamia have one son, Adrian Rich Parker. The Parkers live within a few miles of each other in a suburb just outside Detroit, MI.
